giving in...
...to what needs to happen. I need to stay off my feet. No hiking, no biking, no running until this heals a little more. But it's so nice outside, and I so, so wanted to hike this weekend. My life is hard. So instead, I've been on the back porch, foot propped up, reading 3 different books (a textbook, Love in the Time of Cholera, and Death in Yosemite). In between I've been making 19 pounds of pancakes (I've got a lot of buttermilk to use, okay?) and reliving probably one of the most fun shows that I've been to, Slam Donahue in NYC. The venue was a little crazy, but these guys was so great, and the people there were super into it. And also, it was 10 buck to get in. In. the. city! Yes, worth it, so worth it. Good times! Check 'em out.
