...of thoughts
Okay, okay. I'm going finally, to the doctor. I made an appointment today, being kind of surprised that they're open for Veteran's Day. I'm glad though. I want them to tell me they can't do anything, and it's fine for me to start running/biking/hiking again, or fix it so I can start running/biking/hiking again. Basically, I'm tired of being still. It's been 3 weeks. 3 WEEKS. Soon, hopefully I will be less crazy. We can only hope.
I met another fellow Iowan (I can claim Iowa, I was born there!) last night and he was telling me all about this awesome bike ride across the state that happens every summer called RAGBRAI. He said that he will do it every year until he can't ride anymore. He's inspired me to potentially check it out, especially since I would love to travel back to the midwest, and I have a new found love of long bike rides! Anyone else down?
I randomly got another part time job, working for the big guy. The hiring process went something like this: I walk into the office to talk about why Reese's peanut butter mini cups are a lifesaver at 3 in the afternoon and this conversation ensues...
Boss Man: "I want you to work for me, so talk to Kristen and we'll get everything set up."
Me: "Uhh...okay. Thanks!"
Done. Quick, easy, and to the point. I love this job too (so far). It's challenging my brain in awesome ways. We also get to take field trips (like to the campground bathrooms) but still, it's fun to get out and about and meet people.
