and I'm lost

So, I got lost today. Not the kind of lost where it's okay if you find it eventually at your leisure or just give up and go home (which I'm likely to do at times) but more the kind of lost for 20 minutes while you're supposed to be at a job interview. Nothing says "I'm responsible, hard working and relatively competent" like totally missing your appointment and then them rescheduling you. Grr... However, my saving grace was that the guy interviewing me loves Glacier National Park, and the movie Cinema Paradiso...so we had some good conversation regarding those things. At the end he said that he would forward my application for the next interviewer. So many steps just to be a substitute school nurse!

So being lost today reminds me of the time when I went to church, couldn't find a parking space, so I just left. It's not like I even looked hard for a space, or even parked on the curb (which I could have) I just left. The funny thing is, it takes me a good half an hour to get there. Does this mean that when the going gets tough...I just give up?!

Don't worry about getting lost. Being lost while driving in Boston is pretty much a given.

By the way, what is the FA you are going to get a crash course in?

Hooray for blogs!
