Whee! My first post in my blog! Do I think that I will have enough stuff to write about to keep people interested? Probably not. However, if you ever want to know where I am, what I'm doing, the innermost workings of my life plan...keep checking back.
First up...exciting news...I got a job. Granted it's not the stable sort of job with benefits I was hoping for (those jobs are somewhat overrated anyway...who really needs health insurance?) but neverless a temporary job that will keep me quite busy. It's the same organization I worked with this fall (the youth conference) but this time I will be a faculty advisor. This involves enhancing the leadership qualities of 14 middle school students while hoping my lack of history knowledge does not show through too much. Actually, I've been studying up...I really just want to do a good job. It's crazy...I know. So I will be in DC at this time next week. I'm excited! Also good is knowing the fact that some of the people from the last session will be there. Julie has also graciously agreed to give me a crash course on FA basics...so I feel a little better about that. I'm just happy to be getting out of Missouri for a bit and to start working! (we'll see how long that attitude lasts!)
