a good book

Last week Joes gave me a fantastic book to read while I was in DC. However, I'm almost finished with it already! It's just a lot more interesting than the stuff the I should be reading (American history) it's funny, and it's very relevant to my life (as in I feel like the author and I have the same thoughts!). It's called Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller. I should mention that the subtitle is Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality. Don't let that scare you...it's got some great insight...go check it out.

On a side note...does anyone have any good book suggestions? I have a Borders gift certificate and 1 day off a week in which I spend a good chunk of time there. Let me know...it's much appreciated!

This summer I read The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It is a realistic mystery with a little spirituality thrown in. I couldn't put it down.
