Welcome 2014

New Year's Happenings:

- Ice skating! Lot of it. With a Winter Club membership, it only costs $2 to go. With pretty much no snow here, therefore, no skiing, that's what we do.

- A laid back, early ringing in of the New Year. There were games, there was dancing, there was constructing of paper NYE crowns, and there was confetti. Good times!

- Ahwahnee brunch! So delicious, and so many tiny desserts!

-Work, work, work. There weren't many people around last week, but boss-man was. That means we were pretty busy. Our building is being evacuated for several months so that it can become ADA compliant and fire-safe. This project is a long time coming, and I'm semi-stressed about the move (we have a lot of stuff) but it should all work out eventually in the end. This means I'm going through a lot of files these days, and the organizer in me loves it!

-James Franco was here. I didn't see him, but I did see the ice sculpture at the Ahwahnee that he celebrated in front of (all according to facebook, right?). People have stories of running into him. If I had, I don't know what I would say because I'm not such a fan, but something like "I liked Jason Segel so much better than you in Freaks and Geeks" would probably slip out.

I hope that you had a very Happy New Year celebrating with loved ones!

I'm so glad your year is starting out with so much fun and excitment!

Let's do please talk soon, it has been FAR too long since the last time.

Also, do you have any plans to head north any time soon? I'm afraid I have only dreams of traveling your direction.
