I'm trying to be better at communicating with my family and friends. I feel like with a semi-long distance relationship, I tend to suck at keeping up with everyone because I'm often driving back and forth. So I'm sorry if I haven't called, visited, or invited you over. I still like you. A lot. And I'm working on being better at this. I don't make resolutions starting January 1st, but rather try to improve myself whenever I notice a problem. Ain't nobody got time to wait around until the new year, I'm just going to do it now!

We are suffering from a huge lack of precipitation. Every time I look at the river I think, "is anyone freaked out about this like I am?" And people are, it's just the known, but not wanting to mention it out loud: it's going to be a tough summer.

At least there is ice skating for winter sports! I had the rink all to myself last night and the full moon made it pretty awesome.
