One of my co-workers got a new camera, therefore, I NEED a new camera. Especially one that can do more than my little point n' shoot. But, it can wait. I need my zero degree sleeping bag first! Besides, my camera does a pretty alright job. It's easy when I have really beautiful things to photograph. So here's what I've been up to...picture style.

Loving wildflower season

California poppies in the backyard

Earth Day Birthday/Block Art Day (with the birthday guy, and Des and Kim!) at the Art Center

First you carve out your stamp on a rubber eraser like substance.
Then, you ink it, to see what else you want to carve away.

And then you stamp it! So fun! The instructor kept remarking that mine was very abstract (ie. terrible) but I kinda like it!

Soo and Yosh came to town and we kicked off the hiking season with the Mist Trail. It indeed was VERY misty!
They rated this hike a 10/10 (mostly because we hiked it at 6 am on a Saturday and missed the hoards of people)!

I love Liberty Cap and Nevada Fall. Like a lot.
Add in a lot of bike riding, and fun dancing times to a Argentinian band at Spring Fling (a community party in my mountain town) and I had myself a pretty awesome week!

Yay for taking pictures!
As they say, the camera is not as important as the photographer! :) Your photos are beautiful!

The block art looks like fun, maybe I can commission you to make one of my watermark!! I could use it to stamp the backs of my notecards!

I know it's still a while away, but are you making plans for your birthday yet?
