lemon heart plum

Well, it's not a lemon, it's definitely not a heart, but it is a plum.  Maybe a more accurate description would be lemon-colored, heart-shaped plum, but for the sign at the farmer's market we're going to save some letters, okay?  However, words cannot describe how crazy delicious this piece of fruit was.  Just another reason to love living on the west coast: fantastic produce!

I'm doing the douchebag thing of taking pictures of my food like people might care.  I know you don't and that's okay.  I'm just procrastinating.  Obviously.  That's when the writing happens.  I should be packing for my trip back to the Midwest tomorrow, but lemon heart plums are really important to write about.  Right now.  It's imperative.  So instead of getting stuff together to be on the road pretty early, I'll stay up all night and crash into deep sleep right before the plane takes off.  That's usually how it goes.  On my last flight, I was sitting right next to my high school cross country coach, but didn't realize it until we were walking off the ramp.  Why?  Because it was a 6 am flight, so when I sat down, I immediately passed out.  I think it's a great skill to have, really!  It made life a lot happier when I was traveling all the time.  And being well rested when you reach your destination is an added benefit!

So I'm on a downward spiral, my friends.  Because first, it's food pictures.  Then, it's pet pictures.  I'm gonna go there.  Presenting to you, online for the first time, the cat who will eat us all (and impedes my productivity - even though if you look close, it's just on Grooveshark - I may have been having a dance party for one).  I'm sorry.  Next post will be back to normal.  No cats or food.  Or cat food.  Promise.  Okay, packing!
