I found the best coffee house ever in my hometown. It's sad because I think it's been around for several years but it's a new discovery for me and I couldn't be happier. I will never go to a Starbucks again! I just like that it's privately owned, the drinks are cheaper than $2, they always get my drink order right, and free wi-fi, AND it's so cozy...which is definitely important. Now you know where I'll be come December (I'll be unemployed so...best to hang out here...right?)
Thoughts for the day:
A) Christmas music the day after Halloween...did we just skip Thanksgiving all together? I don't like it...at all
B) People who call my friend Lincoln, "Link". This doesn't bother him at all but it really irritates me for some reason...especially when my mom asks, "How's Link doing?" The same goes for people who call me Kate (unless it's my brother) because that is not my name...at all. Stop it please.
C) People who assume things about me but don't really know me. You don't know what I've been through, you don't know what my life is like...save your psychoanalysis for someone else. I'm really not trying to be mean or bitter about this, I'm just tired of trying to explain myself, and I feel I shouldn't have to. That is all.
D) Midwest Airlines: "The best care in the air"...true! I love that on my flight home, I passed out before we left the ground only to wake up in time for the warm chocolate chip cookies. I also was behind a very well-behaved 2 year old named Riley who had this cutest little backpack and suitcase ever. He insisted that he carry both himself...and no crying...just singing....which was fun.
E) Somehow, the family will all be together at Thanksgiving. It's amazing to me, that with every one's schedules, that we can all be in one place at the same time. It's getting harder and harder to accomplish this...so I'm really excited about seeing everyone at my grandparent's place
F) Brittney Spears: Yeah, I have her new CD. Yeah, I'm hoping that somehow she succeeds in this life. I honestly feel bad for her...and I think she needs a break. It's not like all of us have our mistakes out there for the whole world to see. Yeah, now you can judge me...
G) New Year's Eve: I have several options, I'm not really sure which one to choose...I've never had this dilemma before. Usually I have to beg someone to invite me over to their party so I don't have to spend the night in front of the tv watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve with my dog. It's happened before and not the greatest way to start off the New Year...So this year I guess I'm really excited to have some choices!
H) I have now moved from the "All My Friends are Getting Married" stage of life to "All My Friends are Having Babies" stage of life. I'm so happy for all that are expecting, but I didn't see it coming, and I should have. Five new babies on the way...or born within the last couple of days...Five! It's so crazy, great, but crazy.

We all have one...whether it's written down or not. You know what it is...the list of things that we want to do...before we die, or may...
