blame it on the Tetons

Yes, there is a song called "Blame It on the Tetons" by Modest Mouse. No, I have no idea what the song is about but it is on my ipod. You can blame my absence in blogging world on the Tetons because the last 3 weeks have been the best...and I've been happily busy.

I got home late last night and am already going through mountain withdrawal. I miss what I have come to know in the past 2 months and the friends that I had made. I'm glad to be headed to DC on Saturday to start something new and hopefully take my mind off what I just left behind.

For those of you that don't know...I'm headed back to DC for the fall to be the office coordinator for the youth conference that I worked at previously. I'm excited because I get to be home for Christmas and Thanksgiving and I get office experience (just another good life skill to have), and I just really like this organization...so I'm excited. I leave on Saturday! This gives me tomorrow to do major laundry and pack like a mad-woman. I figure I can "sleep when I'm dead." I kind-of hate that expression but in this case...it fits!

I understand you are currently experiencing a love affar with Grand Teton...but perhaps we should write our own song, "Blame it on Glacier."
