I have 90 percent of my Christmas shopping done...and I did MOST of it today. I'm proud of myself because shopping for people you like is pretty difficult. I want it to be useful, but fun. I want it to be something they want, but a surprise ("it" being the gift). I'm not a shopper who just sees something and thinks, "oh...that would be perfect for this person!" In fact, I pretty much suck at giving gifts...that's why I make everyone send me a Christmas List around Thanksgiving.
I have collected all of the change from around my room and put it all in a giant plastic cup. It's a lot of change...I'm not sure quite how much...but it's just been sitting there so I've decided to take a handful out every time I go out shopping and put it in the Salvation Army buckets around town. The only problem is...I keep forgetting. I think I'll just have to lug the whole cup somewhere and dump all 12 pounds of change in...but I do like to share...even though it's all going to basically the same place...I don't want to favor any one bell ringer!
Oh, and I'll pay someone $20 to wrap all of my gifts. Yeah...I really hate it THAT much. Any takers?
Also, trying to make "The Best Christmas Mixed CD EVER!" let me know which ones are worth downloading (ahem...Julie and Jen!). Thanks!
