baseball

I understand that it's America's pastime but honestly...I just don't get it. I've tried...believe me....I have tried. I've been to more Royals games than I can count, and several Cards games as well and still...nothing. (Oh and there was that one Nats game...but they were about as good as the Royals this summer...and I was working...so maybe it didn't count) However, I do enjoy the baseball atmosphere...I've had some great conversations in the stands, fantastic people watching ALWAYS and I really like to tailgate before the games. So, it's not all bad...and I guess the aforementioned reasons are why I still say yes when someone asks me to come to a game. But I know that I'll never be hooked on watching the game, or know all the names of players, or keep a close watch on the score...but I am from Missouri and I do know the two teams that are playing in the World Series and all I have to say is...Go Cards! I probably won't watch but I'll be excited if you win...and that's all you get from me.
