Okay first off...Little Miss Sunshine...best movie that I've seen this year! It seriously made me so, so happy. Go see it...really...it's THAT good. I was a little disturbed however by the fact that the couple in front of us brought their daughter...who was about 6 or 7 years old. This movie is rated "R" for obvious reasons...just because the movie stars a 6 year old girl does not mean that you should take your 6 year old to see it...sorry...I will get off of my soapbox now.
I spent yesterday In Lincoln, Nebraska for a family reunion type thing. It was good times with the family and relatives that I hadn't seen probably since my brother's wedding. The best part though was riding back in the car with my 2 year old nephew. We watched Veggie Tales (twice! I know all the words now...it's very exciting) and played games like "Find the Moon" which consisted of...finding the moon and "Guess What Aunt Katie is Drawing" on the MagnaDoodle. We're both easily entertained so we had a fun ride back!
Today is barbecue with the rest of the family. YUM! Happy Labor Day weekend...hope it's a good one!
