What is a girl to do with a bunch of new clothes and a sassy new haircut? That's right...go back to work in DC! I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm very excited! I get to move back into the dorms...sans the roommate...this could be good or bad. I rather liked having Soo as my co-conspirator for the last youth conference...we talked until the wee hours of the morning (like I imagine all perfect roommates do...well...at least if you're a girl) and truly watched out for each other. Now I won't have a fashion consultant, a human alarm clock, or fall asleep to the sounds of a Korean soap opera. Another great thing about Soo: she is an amazing packer and totally packed my bags when I left DC the last time. I was worried about making it all fit but after she was done...there was room to spare! During the youth conference prior...Julie was my roommate...she's one of my best friends and also an amazing roommate! So while the past 2 rooming experiences have been great...I think it's because I really lucked out...so maybe this time it will be nice to not have to take that chance and room with someone that you really don't like (like my freshman year of college...potluck was not in my favor!)
Random thoughts:
Please do not talk loudly on your cell phone in the library...it's a library! Shhh! (as I sit in the library typing this)
Okay...the new reality show(s) that I'm obsessed with: "So You Think You Can Dance" It's so much better than American Idol because the dancing is so much more interesting to watch AND
"The Hills"...not as drama-esque as Laguna but I'm still intrigued...like a car accident that you just can't look away from
Hoping to get a life soon...I feel like it's possible...
