So I was over at Joe's apartment the other day and she got me hooked on Gary Lezak's blog: http://blogs.scripps.com/kshb/weather/ (you told me it would happen so I shouldn't be surprised)
For those of you not in the KC area, Gary is one of our meteorologists who gets really, REALLY excited about the weather. He also has 3 dogs named after weather conditions (Breezy, Stormy and Windy) AND if you leave him a comment he will usually respond to it...how cool is Gary Lezak!?
Also, I've gotten accustomed to watching "Live in Kansas City" weekday mornings. It's a horrible morning show that is so cheesy that I'm addicted to it. They have a guy named Darren who goes to different sites of various events and reports live. I was watching him the other day while he was at a school garage sale and he threw in the following comment: "On camera, I'm Darren the reporter, off camera people think that I'm an idiot and I'm annoying." Oh Darren, I love watching you...that's some great reporting right there.
Umm...yeah...I just wrote an entry about the news...I have a job that starts on Monday...and then maybe the insanity will stop.
