St. Patty's

Let's just say my day started at 5:00 am when I decided to go and see a free concert down in the Dupont area. Several of my coworkers were going so I thought why not? We waited for 2 and a half hours while meeting some very interesting people around us...and let me tell you, a red rubber ball in normal situations...pretty lame. A red rubber ball in a crowd of 2,000 drunk people waiting in line...very entertaining. We saw several people almost get hit by a bus, climb a tree and jump a fence just to keep the ball "in play."

Of course, showing up at 6:30 was not early enough...they turned us away at the door to the concert because they were filled to capacity. I was so looking forward to Soul Asylum and O.A.R. Maybe next year...Happy St Patrick's Day!
