reading, eating, working, trying.

Reading: The Devil's Teeth. I highly recommend this book if you are into sharks, surfers, birds, or the San Francisco Bay area and it's history. It was recommended by a friend because we SAW the Farallon Islands during our ocean-side hike. I knew nothing about these jagged, wind-swept islands, and this book provides some fascinating information. It's a good account about a reporter from New York becoming very interested in great white sharks and the researchers on this difficult-to-get-to place and what she finds there.

Eating: A burrito from Ramon's Taco Truck. It's one of the greatest things about driving park to my mountain town after a weekend away. They serve it with a lemon slice and salt. And that burrito weighs about a pound, so that means Ramon's for dinner AND lunch. It's a good day

Working: Packing and moving. Still. The date that the contractors are starting keeps moving back, and so we stay, because we like it here in our building! Also, while moving some things in last week, Kari and I found a dead mouse...IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOOR. Not in a snap trap, not hidden behind a corner, not outside in the garage, but rather smack in center of the room, just dead. Yuck. Thankfully Kari has no problem dealing with dead mice, but I had to stand outside until she properly disposed of it. Ew.

Trying (and tried?): Yoga tonight (for $5), to put Legos together (this weekend - it was successful until little dude dropped it on the cement. Oops.), Mariokart (I haven't played this since 6th grade), a new brewery with a mandarin beer (fancy!), and spicy sushi.
