Happy holidays! I really love this time of year and what it all means. I like that it's cozy and full of dinner parties, reconnecting with friends, Christmas cards (oh, real mail...just yes!), and family time. I feel so lucky to have celebrated with my family already (we are prepared!). It was full of all the Kansas City must-sees: barbecue from Jackstack, Plaza lights, Nelson Atkins Art Museum (they have a gorgeous tree there right now), Latte Land hot chocolate, WWI Memorial, and a special trip to Steamboat Arabia. I hadn't been to the steamboat since a 4th grade field trip, and although a small exhibit, still pretty interesting. The man-friend loves rivers and waterways so he had a good time as well! Christmas rounded out with a full on dance party, and our second year of Family Jeopardy.
The luck continues as I've been invited to my man-friend's family Christmas. I get to be Santa for the very first time, so I'm pretty psyched about that. I can take a bite out of a cookies like nobody's business! As for wrapping gifts, thankfully that's already taken care of. Photos will be eventually be coming? But know that I'm thinking of you, and wishing you a very happy holiday!
