It's snowing! It feels like summer was yesterday though, and it pretty much was. When you vacillate from 80 degrees and sunny to several inches of snow, you must be living in the mountains. Check and check.

I moved into a tiny apartment that is all mine. ALL MINE! Meaning I'm on a lease in a gov house. If anyone knows about the housing struggles here, this is huge, and a year and a half in the making. I was very sad to leave the beautiful house with a huge wrap around back porch, but I was living the high life, and couldn't really afford it.

The apartment is a pretty perfect size for what I need. If you're moving, then you need to take a trip to Ikea, which is exactly what I did. If you are wondering if a Karlstad loveseat from Ikea can fit into the back of a Ford Escape, then wonder no more. Because IT CAN! Incredible. Also, boyfriends are great when you're moving. I mean, mine is great all the time, but especially so during this move. Feeling thankful for him!

Oh, and in big news...I got published! Just for the park, but still something I'm proud of! Of course it was done with a lot of help from our research librarian and proof readers extraordinaries!

So, that's a super quick lunchtime update! Tonight, I imagine it'll be a wrestling match between myself and my not-yet-put-together Ikea furniture. I hope I win!
