Ideas

I'm thinking like Five Things Friday and Word of the Day Wednesday. I really enjoy it when blogs/social media outlets have something consistent on certain days of the week. I was thinking about this yesterday when talking social media strategy with one of my all-knowing social-media-ite friends.

I like that on Sunday, PostSecret has new secrets. Very reliable. Cashmere and Cupcakes has nice photos of five things from her week on Friday (even though one of those things is a $70 candle?), and Elvis Enthusiasts Unite used to do a really great Wordless Wednesday with some awesome photos involved (there are still awesome photos, just not always on a Wednesday anymore). It's good. And I find it entertaining, and I'm more likely to go back and check on those certain days.

So is there some strategy in this for my rambling, unpredictable, infrequent blogging ways? I'm not sure. I don't know if I could be that organized. But you know what? I used to double space after sentences, and I don't do that anymore. I could change! But blogging is a hard medium in this abbreviated 140 character world. But then again, I'm not shooting for a lot of readers. I'm here to say hey. And this is what's happening with my life. I'm full of ideas. We'll see what I come up with...
