Little known facts about myself:

I always pick the handicap stall in public restrooms, even though I'm not disabled (and I do feel a little guilty about it, but I'm in and out pretty quickly!)

I just learned last week that it's only one space after the end of a sentence. Not two. Can I break this habit? Probably not. Thanks a lot, JTrust!

I do not like to jump into things (pools, lakes, hot tubs?) and I won't do it. Not even for a cool photo op. Waterslide type things (the smooth rocks of canyons) are okay though. I think this has something to do with all of those years of teaching kids not to jump into water unless they know what the bottom looks like. Paranoia.

Speaking of paranoia, every time I dog-sit, I envision how I will tell the dog owner that I lost their dog. I'm afraid that someday, I'll have to use this hypothetical conversation, for real (my friend accidentally lost a dog once - like drown in the river lost, and it was terrible).

So, any little known facts about yourself you'd like to share? Disclaimer: like I would tell my 9th graders, make sure it's something you're comfortable sharing, and something that most people would be reasonably comfortable hearing. I hated saying that to them, but it was often necessary!

Man. One space in between sentences is going to be hard to get used to.
