Somehow (somehow!) people are still reading my blog.  So for those (2) people...the update.  In numerical format:
1) I am back in Yosemite.  My job today was a combination of biking, hiking and junior ranger-ing, all 3 things that I very much enjoy.  Sometimes my job includes being locked in the visitor center.  I do not enjoy those days as much as biking/hiking/outside days.
2) I turned 30 a week ago.  Yikes.  But I'm still here and feel the same (except for the need to run a half marathon and learn how to play the ukulele...and if you can help me accomplish either of these things, let me know).  I spent my birthday at a super sweet backcountry cabin that we canoed to.  Does anything make me happier than paddling?  The answer is no.  Needless to say, I loved my birthday weekend AND found some peregrine falcons (the fastest animal on earth!).
As far as an update goes...it's a brief one.  Pictures soon, maybe?
