My parents came to see me! We did a bunch of fun things including: a hike to the top of Multnomah Falls (my mom made it...and she's afraid of heights...so I was proud of her!), Edgefield, a trip to the cheese factory (my dad now loves cheese curds just as much as I do), to the beach (we ate lots of seafood), to Clatsop Fort (where Lewis and Clark spent the winter after their expedition), to Ikea (my mom LOVES this place now...and we ate Swedish meatballs), to Powells (of course we bought books), Pioneer Square Courthouse, and drank some fantastic coffee at Stumptown Roasters. So that's pretty much an overview of the short trip to Portland. I love my parents!
