fantastic...

weekend that it. The rundown: Lincoln came to visit! YAY! He has several friends in the area and so we spent some time drinking beer, hanging out and eating good food! We also attempted a trip to Mt Hood but never made it due to my fear of snow/ice/fog/sleet/hail, inclimate weather conditions, and 4 guys having to push my car up a hill cause it was stuck in the snow. Bummer. Sorry, Lincoln! But I had a really great time meeting up with everyone again (Chris, Jason and Shelly) and maybe making some new friends (Amanda). There ARE cool people that live in PDX!

My sister is coming for spring break...I'm excited!

Jolene and I tried to watch "No Country for Old Men". Didn't like it, but I really don't like anything with extreme violence. AND I'm not smart enough to get the deeper meaning of films.

The hospital gig starts in a week. I think I may try (TRY!) to work a couple days this week...even though it would be long term care. I'm feeling really restless, and having a little income would be nice!

Although I still believe we could have made it to Mt. Hood, I did drive us down that stupid driveway. In a way I guess it was my fault.

Oh and funny story. As I was navigating the treacherous mountain road between Pendleton and La Grande on my way back home (it was snowing like crazy), I thought to myself, "Katie would be dying right now. She would literally start crying and then actually die." I laughed out loud and almost crashed.

good times.

I had fun too. Let's do it again.

Sounds like an awesome weekend with Lincoln (but that's kind of a given with him!) :) Glad you are having fun even with the crap weather! I'm going trekking this weekend and I'm hoping to see some snow!

As for No Country for Old Men... I really liked that movie! And don't say you're not smart enough... you are, silly!

Hope the hospital thing works out for you... miss you!
