Edward Cullen: tortured, mysterious, sexy, a vampire...what more could a girl want?! I totally bought into the Twilight hype but I read the books WAY before the movie came out. This makes me a better person than everybody else who jumped on the bandwagon after seeing the movie. AND I thought (against my better judgement because he was like 16 at the time) Robert Pattinson (the guy above) was super-cute as Cedric Diggory in that one Harry Potter movie. I saw the success of everything coming from far, far away! I am awesome!Really though, don't underestimate the buying power of teenage girls. Several of my students said that when the movie came out they were going to see it as much as they could in the theaters (much like "Titanic" was for my generation) and said that they owned all the books. I will confess...I saw the movie...ONCE and I read all the books borrowed from the library...ONCE...and I'm good with that. So maybe I'm not AS awesome as I though previously.

this is why we're friends (well, reason no. 2333 anyway!) :) i also like twilight (sort of... i like the story though the writing is horrendous) and i LOVE robert pattison and think OF COURSE he's edward cullen!
however, i have all the books now (i'm reading the final book which jen sent to me) and i already watched twilight online.
I just don't see why girls like vampires. Why are they hot? Why?
