So I turned 27...and I'm not ashamed to say it. I figure there are a lot of people older than me, and a lot of people younger than me...and age is just age. Who really cares? Look at me...all full of wisdom and valuable insight now...awesome.
Had a fantastic two day birthday celebration. It started with dinner at Signal (in which my boss paid for everything...so nice), and then moved to the bar where we did the rest of our celebrating. I'm thinking these days it's good to be friends with the bartenders...they made sure I celebrated well. Combined with the free drinks, the well wishes, everyone telling me I looked pretty (because I did!), and everyone in the bar singing happy birthday to me at midnight...it was a pretty fantastic birthday. I had to work the next day...but it was just making dough (which is good because you don't have to deal with people and there is no pressure for time) and let's just say I didn't keep everything down the night before...so I felt fine in the morning (unlike all of my other co-workers). Worked, went to a lecture about bats (my arch nemesis, but I respect them now), and then had dinner with some of the guys from Signal at Leek's. Kate made me dinner which was fantastic, then they brought a cake out, candles and everything. Really, really great day. I have the best friends EVER! Thanks for all the birthday wishes...and if I haven't called you yet...I'm trying to...I promise!
Oh, and it snowed yesterday...again

sounds so fun! i really want to come see you! I heart jackson. My sister scheduled my niece's birthday party over the weekend I was going to try to go to Jackson, though, so I'm going to see if I can figure out how to squeeze a trip in some other time. Bah!
