another chapter comes to a close

So these past 5 months have been filled with lots and lots of airplane rides...I don't even want to tell you how many delays I've had, or how often I would pass out on the plane before we even left the gate (every time!) but just for the record:

Spain
Washington DC
Princeton, NJ
Nashville, TN
Spartanburg, SC
New Orleans
Atlanta, GA
Irvine, CA
San Diego, CA
Cocoa Beach, FL
Orlando, FL
Austin, TX
then back to DC

Now I'm here...in Kansas City...for a couple of days. Packing up everything to head to Wyoming for the summer. Only time will tell if it is a good decision to go back. I'm not one to do the same job, in the same place, twice.

I really miss my 8th and 9th graders though...teaching and dealing with that age group was so, so good for me. In fact, I loved that job. But I'm ready for the next step...I think...

I can't say whether Wyoming is the right decision or not. I'm just glad you'll be out West. I'm coming to visit you. I promise.

8th & 9th graders...they'll make you laugh and they'll make you cry. But working with them is so rewarding!
