here goes...
Job: love it! I'm working at a pizzeria right off of a marina so I get the mountains and the lake just steps outside my door. It's unusually hot here but the nice thing is that during your break you can jump in the lake, and then get back to work. It's still very, VERY busy here...with tourists...which means I run around...a lot. They are slowly teaching me how to cook...I made my first pizza yesterday (for myself) and dropped half of it on the floor...I figure for the first one that's pretty good! And there is seasonal drama but so far I am not involved...so that's a plus!
I'm getting along better with my roommates...they were my heroes when we had a bat flying around in our room and they caught it for me. I seriously freaked out...I don't like bats outside...definitely don't like them inside where they poop all over my bed :(
I've been to Jackson a couple of times and have decided that I love that town. Although incredibly touristy it does have a certain charm to it that makes me want to go back...and they have 3 really good Thai places there...yes...Thai...in Jackson, Wyoming. So, so far, so good. If you talked to me last week...I'm doing much better this week! I was laying out by the lake yesterday afternoon looking at the mountains and thinking about how 3 weeks ago I was in Missouri working at the hospital...and now this. I'm a lucky girl!
If you want a postcard please e-mail me your address as I totally forgot my address book. I love writing postcards so just let me know!
