What they really mean: We're sorry that you are a Royals fan. Pretty much we are going to suck again this year...but since you've come to games every summer since 1984...you might as well come again this summer. It won't be an exciting or successful season...but what would your summer be without experiencing the atmosphere of the K? Come on, it's America's pastime...and we're not promising you anything so you can't be disappointed.
(Really I'm just sad and bitter that I can't go to the home opener...)

So the Royals kicked some Red Sox ass today. Way to go.
the nationals will probably be worse. :) glad you beat the sox, though. shhh... don't tell anyone i hate the sox (remind me of that fact when i'm living in massachusetts in the fall!)
