PQ once again

I was flipping through the channels when red rock, blue skies and canyons caught my eye (and a few crazy people running through the desert). This could be nothing else but the Primal Quest footage! Yay! I guess it takes awhile to get it all together and they show an even more in-depth documentary in January. I have a freakish fascination with adventure racing...it stems from watching people who are truly super athletes in every sense of the word do the physically unthinkable (race for 6 days straight...550 miles). The Ironman would be a walk in the park for these guys...it's amazing! I also got to see my AR superstars, Team Nike on tv! I've met them, I've met them! Ian Addamson told me I should get a bike! I guess I just get excited because they are the only "celebrities" that I've had a chance to speak to. Well, I guess you can count Miss America 1990...my mom took my 3rd grade self to the mall to meet her...tiara and all. I've never had an interesting story about driving by Matt Damon while he was running and then back up so I could talk to him, (a story from one of my students this summer...she swears it's true!) or live next door to Bobby and Whitney Houston, (another student story) or babysit Weird Al's daughter (umm yeah...another one of my students...they were an interesting group) so give me my moment of glory and let me be excited about Team Nike...they're a lot cooler than most well-known people! Oh...and this documentary had some really beautiful shots of Utah...I miss road trips :(

You should become an adventure racer yourself. You'd love it. Move to Bozeman. I'll help you train.
