I made it!

The kids are long gone and I am done with the youth conference! I have to say this last session has been one of the hardest because of all of the personal problems I experienced added to the fact that I wasn't too enthused about the program in the first place. At the same time, I'm thankful for the experience and all the amazing people that I worked with. Our end of cycle party was fun with drinking, dancing, karaoke and a sweet ride (in the form of a Hummer limo). I hope to get pictures posted soon.

Otherwise I'm hanging out at Jenny and Julie's and being lazy...we're having the whole heat-wave thing so staying inside as long as possible is a good option for me today. Later plans include Cake Love! and a free screening of The Dark Crystal. I'm a little worried because I was traumatized by that movie when I first saw it at 6 years old. I think it created my dislike of scary movies...but it's made for kids...I definitely need to be sitting by someone who wants to hold my hand through this!
